Shinhan Securities is fully activating a human network connecting its headquarters and branch offices to strengthen company-wide AI transformation (AX) execution capabilities.

Shinhan Securities announced on the 24th that it held “AX Champions Day,” with 109 AX coordinators from headquarters and field operations in attendance. AX coordinators are core AX talent responsible for identifying AI agent initiatives within each department, overseeing planning and development through to driving adoption in day-to-day operations. The firm plans to cultivate these individuals not merely as AI development participants, but as a “Champion Group” that leads AX expansion within each organization, evolving into a sustainable, enterprise-wide core talent network.

During the event, participants shared best practices from AI agents built by each department during the first half of the year and discussed real-world implementation experiences, including success factors and areas for improvement identified in actual use. Training sessions covered Microsoft Copilot utilization, AI governance, and new AI agent platforms.

Participants also had dedicated time to develop second-half AI agent initiatives and adoption expansion plans tailored to the specific operational characteristics of their respective departments. Through this, Shinhan Securities aims to focus not just on building AI agents, but on increasing actual workplace utilization and productivity.

The event is a follow-up to Shinhan Securities’ recent establishment of the “AI Agent Division”—the first independent department in South Korea’s financial sector composed entirely of AI agents. It is part of efforts to build the execution framework for realizing “AI Native Company,” the AI vision of Shinhan Financial Group. While the AI Agent Division is responsible for validating and pioneering new AI collaboration models, AX coordinators serve as the enterprise-wide execution network that extends these models to each business unit and sales field.

A Shinhan Securities official stated, “AX is not simply about adopting AI technology—it is a process of transforming actual work methods and organizational culture. AX coordinators will serve as champions leading AI adoption at each worksite, spreading best practices and playing a key role in driving the transition to an AI Native Company.”

Building on this AX Champions Day, Shinhan Securities plans to further strengthen its field-centric AX execution framework and expand department-level AI agent utilization to simultaneously advance workplace productivity and customer experience innovation.
