The share repurchases are a part of the SEK 1.25bn share buyback program running between 16 July and 20 October 2026. The share buyback program is executed in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (“MAR”) and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1052 (the “Safe Harbour Regulation”).
All acquisitions have been carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE on behalf of SEB. A full breakdown of the transactions is attached to this announcement.
Following the repurchases above, SEB holds 16,403,817 own Class A shares for capital purposes and 22,894,460 Class A shares for the bank’s long-term incentive program. The total number of issued shares in SEB amounts to 1,985,461,084.
Share repurchases under the share buyback program may be temporarily halted for SEB’s repurchases of shares for SEB’s long-term incentive program.
