BSE, the country’s oldest stock exchange, has waived processing fees for registration of Authorised Persons (AP) in the Commodity Derivatives and Electronic Gold Receipt segments till September 2028.
In a statement issued on Monday, BSE said with a view to encourage greater participation of intermediaries in the Commodity Derivatives and Electronic Gold Receipt segments of the exchange, it has been decided to waive the processing fees payable for registration of APs in these segments for the period from August 24 to September 30, 2028.
The waiver will also be available to existing APs of the Exchange seeking registration in the Commodity Derivatives and Electronic Gold Receipt segments during the said period.
Processing fees for registration of APs in other segments will continue to be levied as per the applicable fee structure, it added.
Further, Annual Maintenance Charges shall be waived for the same period in respect of existing and new APs registered exclusively in the Commodity Derivatives and Electronic Gold Receipt segments.
However, APs registered in any other segment in addition to the Commodity Derivatives and Electronic Gold Receipt segments will continue to be liable to pay the applicable AMC as per the prescribed fee structure, said the exchange.
