Smarter Web Co PLC saw its shares drop on Tuesday after it announced that Jesse Myers, head of bitcoin strategy, is leaving the company effective September 1.
Smarter Web Co is a UK-based web design, web development and online marketing company. Its shares were down 5.8% at 33.20 pence around noon on Tuesday in London.
The company said its bitcoin treasury policy will remained unchanged. Smarter Web Co has accepted payments in bitcoin since 2022 and holds treasury reserves and surplus cash in bitcoin.
