Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse on Wednesday echoed President Donald Trump’s bullish outlook on crypto, reinforcing optimism about the industry’s long-term growth prospects.

Garlinghouse welcomed the administration’s stance after attending the White House gathering alongside Trump, Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) CEO Brian Armstrong, Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) CEO Vlad Tenev and other cryptocurrency industry executives.
Garlinghouse emphasized the growing political significance of digital assets, citing the estimate of nearly 67 million, American crypto holders.
“Crypto isn’t a fringe industry,” Garlinghouse said in an X post on Aug. 19, adding that Washington recognizes the growing influence of crypto voters.

Armstrong said Trump’s White House crypto meeting underscored SEC Chair Paul Atkins’ and CFTC Chair Mike Selig’s commitment to getting the CLARITY Act across the finish line.
Armstrong laid out a bullish three-step “vision board” on X the same day, predicting a strong bipartisan CLARITY Act vote on Sep. 15 that could mark the start of the next crypto bull run.
He also pointed to “Uptober,” historically one of Bitcoin’s strongest months. In 2025, Tom Lee attributed Bitcoin’s “Uptober” flop to market panic triggered by U.S.-China trade tensions.
Coinbase CEO’s Vision Board
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump declared at the meeting that the U.S. is winning the global crypto and artificial intelligence race keeping it ahead of China.
This fueled optimism around Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) and the broader digital asset market.
As BTC rallied to its highest level since early June, crypto-linked stocks including Circle (NYSE:CRCL) also rallied higher. With its business built on crypto infrastructure, the company is a direct beneficiary from the renewed industry-wide momentum.
