Netweb Technologies India Ltd on Thursday raised ₹1,200 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement, allotting 25,05,219 equity shares at ₹4,790 per share, a 1.96 per cent discount to the floor price, to marquee institutional investors. The fund-raising committee approved the allotment at a late-night meeting on August 20, 2026, which ran from 10.45 PM to 11.00 PM.

The QIP drew participation from a mix of foreign portfolio investors and domestic mutual funds. Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund emerged as the single largest allottee with 3,28,064 shares, representing 13.10 per cent of the issue. Goldman Sachs Funds, Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio followed with 2,80,740 shares (11.21 per cent), and Think India Opportunities Master Fund LP received 2,08,768 shares (8.33 per cent). On the domestic side, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund schemes collectively received 16.67 per cent of the issue on a PAN-clubbed basis, with the Flexicap Fund alone accounting for 1,92,709 shares. Invesco India Flexi Cap Fund was allotted 1,56,577 shares, accounting for 6.25 per cent of the issue.

The allotment has expanded the company’s paid-up equity share capital from ₹11,38,81,374 comprising 5,69,40,687 shares to ₹11,88,91,812 comprising 5,94,45,906 shares. The equity shares carry a face value of ₹2 each and were issued at a premium of ₹4,788 per share.

Netweb’s stock surged 4.14 per cent on the NSE on Friday to ₹5,644, simultaneously touching a fresh 52-week high of ₹5,674.80 intraday. Traded value on the day stood at ₹1,927.94 crore, reflecting heavy institutional and retail interest. The stock has returned 173.40 per cent over the past year and 83.62 per cent year-to-date, against a NIFTY 500 return of 1.65 per cent and 1.63 per cent respectively, over the same periods. The company’s total market capitalisation stands at approximately ₹32,137 crore.
