Kirk Herbstreit and his former gymnast wife have four boys thanks to handstands on the bed

Kirk Herbstreit knows the secret to having boys, and it starts immediately after you and your lady enjoy some alone time. He and his former gymnast wife Alison Bulter have gone four-for-four implementing this method.

It’s worth a shot for all the girl dads out there who want to try one last time for a boy, isn’t it? Unless, of course, this headstand on the bed that his wife would do is a coincidence, and they were always going to have boys anyway.

There is a chance that’s the case, but where’s the sense of adventure in going along with headstands being a part of the process? Wouldn’t you much rather live in a world where a bunch of women are going upside down in bed with their feet in the air hoping it will bring them a boy?

I know that’s the kind of world I want to live in, and I’d like to think Herbstreit does too. He shared his bedroom secret for having boys during a recent appearance on Bussin’ With the Boys.

After being asked what his secret was, Herbstreit clarified that he was actually being asked about having boys specifically, then dove right into it.

His wife had done some research on the subject, and apparently they didn’t want any girls, because they used the secret method for each of their four children, and they all ended up being boys.

“Well, my wife, to be specific, my wife was a gymnast…,” Herbstreit said: “When we would get done with, when we were done… she heard the male sperm were faster. She would do a handstand, she would go up on the bed, and we’re four-for-four.”

He wasn’t sure about the length of time required for these boy-making headstands, but that didn’t matter to the hosts. They were convinced, as we can only hope a lot of others are, that Herbstreit had cracked the code.
