The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

———-

Serval Resources PLC – London-based metals exploration and development company – First half loss before finance costs totals £2.0 million. Reports no revenue. Says its The acquisition of Kalahari Copper Ltd in April “has established the company as a large landholder in two emerging copper belts: the Kaoko Basin in Namibia and the Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana, both of which are under-explored in comparison to their prospectivity.” Says both regions “hold similarities to the prolific Central African Copper Belt” in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and that the regions “have the potential for new sedimentary copper discoveries of significance, with the opportunity for strategic metal by-products such as silver.” Chief Executive Officer Robin Birchall comments: “Looking ahead to the second half of the financial year, the company is focused on delivering the next phase of its work programmes, utilising a combination of geological mapping, geophysics and soil sampling in order to build an understanding of the known mineralisation within our licences. This multi-dataset approach will significantly de-risk future drilling by improving the definition of mineralised corridors and will allow for our first drilling programme in Namibia before the end of the year. The board believe these activities have the potential to generate important value drivers over the coming months and further demonstrate the quality of our asset base.”

Sealand Capital Galaxy PLC – Asia-focused digital investor that offers financial and strategic support to entrepreneurs – Receives notices from nine investors to exercise 1.65 billion conversion A warrants, raising £4.9 million. Proceeds will be used to “further strengthen the company’s balance sheet and provide additional working capital to support the continued execution of Sealand’s investment and growth strategy. In particular, the additional capital will provide the company with greater flexibility to evaluate and pursue investment opportunities in line with its stated focus on technology and AI-related businesses,” Sealand says.

Christian Medina Murphy becomes the first British player to win a Premier Padel P1 match on British soil. “Over 20,000 spectators attended the elite professional tournament held at London Olympia, with the main court’s 4,000 capacity sold out for the final two days. The tournament generated extensive media coverage across national newspapers, including the Times, Daily Telegraph, and Independent, as well as various lifestyle publications, whilst match coverage was broadcast on TNT Sports and streamed on YouTube,” company adds. Chair Jonathan Rowland says: “Participation and awareness of padel continues to rapidly grow across the UK, and the arrival of Premier Padel in London for the first time is a clear indication of this momentum. The tournament attendance was also highly encouraging, with the main court at capacity for the weekend. The level of media interest was very positive, with reports covering the performance of both R3 Sports and Bullpadel players. We also experienced significantly higher social media engagement around our R3 and Bullpadel brands, all of which reinforces that the UK is a fast-growing, strategically important market and VVV is positioned strongly to capitalise on this.”
