Major crypto exchange Coinbase is set to delist two crypto assets from its platform in September.
In a recent X post, Coinbase revealed its decision to suspend trading for Badger DAO (BADGER) and Storj (STORJ) in September following its latest review of assets listed on the exchange.
Coinbase stated it regularly monitors the assets on the exchange to ensure they meet its listing standards. Based on recent reviews, the exchange stated it will suspend trading for Badger DAO (BADGER) & Storj (STORJ) on September 28, 2026, on or around 2 pm ET.
The trading of these two crypto assets will be suspended on Coinbase․com (Simple and Advanced Trade), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime. In light of this, the BADGER & STORJ order books have been moved to limit-only mode; limit orders can be placed and canceled, and matches may occur.
However, BADGER & STORJ funds will remain accessible to holders, who will continue to be able to withdraw their funds.
Earlier in August, Coinbase revealed its decision to suspend trading for IoTeX (IOTX) on September 23, 2026, on or around 2 PM ET, bringing the number of cryptocurrencies named for delisting in September to three.
Trading of IoTeX (IOTX) will be suspended on Coinbase Simple and Advanced Trade, Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime, with IOTX order books already moved to limit-only mode in preparation for its delisting.
New listings
While Coinbase has announced the suspension of trading for three crypto assets, it has also performed new listings in August.
In August, Basecat (BASECAT), DebtReliefBot (DRB), Dolphin (POD), and Grass (GRASS) were added to Coinbase’s roadmap.
Grass (GRASS) and Basecat (BASECAT) have been listed on Coinbase and in the Coinbase app, allowing users to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store these assets.
In separate news, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong highlighted strong early momentum for the new US500 index perp, an index of the 500 largest companies in America, crossing $100 million in 24-hour trading volume just a week after launch.
