MSCI derivatives

BSE Ltd has entered into an agreement with MSCI for a number of its indexes. Under the agreement, BSE will explore the launch of futures and options contracts in India linked to these indexes, subject to regulatory approvals.

BSE said the strategic step anchors its role in further developing the Indian capital market.

BSE’s arm BSE Index Services Pvt. Ltd. announced the launch of Growth Factor Indices comprising three indices: BSE 500 Growth 50 Index, BSE MidCap 150 Growth 30 Index and BSE LargeCap 100 Growth 30 Index.

Closing auction

SEBI would take strict and immediate action against any attempt to manipulate the Closing Auction Session (CAS) to defame it, Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey had said.

BSE’s Closing Auction Session is a 20-minute auction mechanism introduced on August 3, 2026, running from 3.15 pm to 3.35 pm for F&O-eligible stocks. It replaces the final continuous trading window to pool and match orders at a single equilibrium closing price.
