The stock closed Wednesday’s regular session down 8.31% at $0.25. It fell 30.23% to $0.17 in after-hours trading.

Going Concern Warning

SurgePays reported $1.95 million in unrestricted cash as of June 30, 2026, alongside a $21.30 million working capital deficit and $20.75 million stockholders’ deficit.

The company reported a $10.76 million net loss available to common stockholders and $7.18 million in net cash used in operating activities for the six months ended June 30.

SurgePays said it does not believe it has sufficient cash resources to meet its obligations as they become due over the following 12 months.

The company said these conditions raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern within one year. Management added that its plans to address the situation, including additional financing and efforts to grow its LinkUp Mobile and HERO platforms, do not alleviate that substantial doubt.

Second-Quarter Revenue Rises, But Settlement Boosts Results

SurgePays reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $16.20 million, compared with $11.52 million in the year-ago quarter.
