Alumasc Group PLC on Friday said it had terminated Pamela Bingham as chief executive officer of the company with immediate effect following an independent probe.
The Northamptonshire-based supplier of building products for water and energy management said Vijay Thakrar would continue as interim executive chair.
Alumasc had suspended Bingham in July pending an investigation conducted with external advisers into her professional conduct. The group had provided no further details about the matters being investigated.
On Friday, the company noted a “positive start” to new financial year despite the challenging backdrop and said it would announce results for the year ended June 30 on September 15.
Alumasc shares closed 2.6% lower at 228.80 on Friday in London.
