Augmont Enterprises IPO was subscribed 27.94 times by 12.30 pm on the closing day of bidding on Tuesday, with strong demand from non-institutional investors.
The NII portion fetched 75.99 times subscription, while the retail portion was subscribed 21.58 times. The QIB category received 3.38 times subscription and the employee portion was subscribed 14.12 times.
The ₹825-crore IPO has a price band of ₹750-788 per equity share, comprising of fresh issue of shares worth ₹620 crore and an offer-for-sale component worth ₹205 crore.
Promoters Namita Ketan Kothari, Vivek Prithviraj Kothari and Dimple Mukesh Kothari will offload shares through the OFS.
At the upper end of the price band, Augmont Enterprises will have a post-issue market capitalisation of around ₹7,200 crore.
The company plans to use the IPO proceeds primarily to fund its future working capital needs, including procurement and expansion of inventory, inventory maintenance and advance margin requirements for purchasing inventory. The proceeds will also be used for general corporate purposes.
